Darjeeling, Pelling & Gangtok Tour Package

• On arrival at New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station / Bagdogra (IXB) Airport, meet our representative that will assist you to board the vehicle and drive to Darjeeling en route you see the forested hills, small villages and beautiful tea gardens. On arrival Check in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. In the evening you can walk around The Mall to enjoy the Typical Hill life of Darjeeling town. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

• After breakfast you can take a toy train ride from Darjeeling to Ghoom and back for 1.3hrs. The train starts at 9.45AM. Then later visit Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (Closed on Thursday) where you can see the high altitude Himalayan species like Snow leopard, clouded Leopard, Siberian Tiger, Red Panda and many rare mammal and birds. Visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday) to see the priceless collection of mountaineering gears used by legendary climbers in the Himalayas. After that we take you to the Tea garden on the undulating valleys for viewing the scenic landscape and tea plucking and processing (seasonal) then proceed to Tenzing rock and Gombu Rock for some fun rock climbing activities. Now we take you to the Tibetan Refugee center(Closed on Sunday) and Bhutia Basti to procure the traditional handicraft items made by the local people. Visit Ava Art Gallery that houses the unique art and embroidery works of Mrs. Ava Devi. Return back to the hotel.Recommended: Walk around the ‘Lover’s Road’ and enjoy a quite evening at the Shrubbery Park on top of the Mall hill.

• Early morning visit to Tiger Hill at (8442ft) experience the unforgettable sight of Sunrise over the Kunchenjungha Mountains. Visit Ghoom Monastery – one of the oldest Monasteries in Darjeeling and also Batasia Loop – the picturesque garden and War Memorial with the backdrop of snow ranges – on your way back to hotel. After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Pelling in West Sikkim. Pelling – a small tourist hub famous for holy lakes, old Monasteries and landscape. Pelling sprawled at 6100ft (1830M) offers amazing views of Kunchenzungha Range. At arrival do check in at hotel. Evening you can walk along through pine forest. Overnight stay at Pelling.

• After breakfast get ready to explore Sikkim. Starts from Pemayangtse Monastery- the seat of the Nyingma Order of Tibetan Buddhism built by Lhatsun Chempo in the 17th Century, monastery contains numerous antique idols and objects of worship and is filled with wall paintings and sculptures. The most astounding feature is a painted wooden structure of Zantho Pelri – the Heavenly Palace of Guru Rinpoche. Then drive to Khecheopalri (25kms) holy lake which is surrounded by dense forests is believed to have the power of fulfilling the wishes. The lake is surrounded by dense forests you not see even a single leaf floating at the middle water. Visit Kunchenjungha Falls and Rimbi Falls. Return bakc to Pelling have lunch after that drive to Dentham Valley about an hour drive from Pelling. Visit Tsangey Falls and visit Sinsore Bridge – the highest bridge in Sikkim. In the evening exploring Sikkim return back to hotel for overnight stay.

• After breakfast check out from the hotel and you will proceed to Gangtok. On arrival do check in formalities and relax. Get refreshed and have free leisure evening. In the evening you can take short walk around The Mall can see the hill life of Gangtok. Overnight stay at hotel.

• After breakfast we take you to famous Tsongo Lake also known as Changu Lake at 12000ft (3600M). Start around 8.30 AM in the morning from hotel. You have whole day to enjoy snow and Yak ride at the scenic high altitude alpine lake near Indo-Tibet border. The Lake is 1 km long and 15m deep considered sacred to the local people. The pristine clear water remains frozen during winter. Have fun with snow and enjoy exciting Yak ride around the lake. Baba Mandir, dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh who was a soldier of the Indian Army. Return back to hotel and relaxed. Evening visit to M G Marg, the busy market of Gangtok, for shopping and having Sikkimese delicacy at the local restaurant. Return to hotel for stay.
  Optional tour to Nathula Pass (Alt 14000Ft.) on China Border can also be arranged (Except Mon, Tue) for Indian Nationals only on additional cost. 
• Recommended activities – Take a ride to Rope way or go for a helicopter Joy Ride over the Himalayas.

Today early morning at 5AM you will be taken to 3 most view points at Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok from where you can see the panoramic view of entire Gangtok town and valley along with the magnificent Kunchenjungha. Visit to the temple at Honuman Tok and return to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast check out from the hotel and you will be transfer to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport to board the flight or train to your onward journey.
