These Terms and Conditions define the rules of our services that will help to build a strong relationship between you (“Client” “Guests”or “you”) and IndiaJourney (“Indiajourney,” “company,” “we,” or “us”). By booking or taking any tour or services with IndiaJourney, you are agreeing to follow these Terms and Conditions. So we advise you to read them carefully.
Our Services
We are offering following services:
Group Travel: Organized group tours various destinations.
Customized holidays: Tailor-made itineraries for individuals.
Helicopter: Doing Helicopter trips for Chardham and Private booking
Tour Pricing & Inclusions
Pricing: Tour packages prices are based on current availability. The final price will depend on how many people are joining the trip.
Inclusions and Exclusions: The services which are included in the package are details while sending you the booking confirmation vouchers. Any services that are not mentioned in the inclusion section for that you have to pay separately.
Accommodation Rules
Check-In & Check-Out Times: The standard check-in time is 2 :00 PM, and check-out time is 11: 00 AM, rest all depend subject to hotel policies. Early check in and late check out are on addition charges.
Room: Room sizes and there amenities can vary on the destination and hotel category and Air-conditioned rooms may not be available in certain regions, outside India and domestic hill stations in India. If any damage done in the hotel, then client is responsible.
Additional Hotel Charges: Room Service, Mini Bar is used that should be paid directly at the hotel.
Hotel Changes: IndiaJourney reserved the right to change hotel due to any unforeseen circumstances. Same will be updated to client as soon as possible.
Booking Rules:
Booking Confirmation: To confirm your booking you have to pay advance booking amount so that your seat/tour will be confirmed. All quotes send to you are tentative and can change on availability at the final payment. Any changes on your booking including hotel, airlines, itinerary will be update to you within 72 hours (excluding Saturday, Sunday, and Public Holidays).
Payment Policy: All payment is made accordingly to the payment policy provided you at the time of booking. Payment accepted by credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and online payment gateways. Payments are to be made in INR.
Payment Failure: If you are not able to pay the full amount of payment by the specified due date may result in the cancellation of your booking or services, so we are free to cancel tour /services and there will be no objection by Client.
Cancellation and Refunds
Trip Cancelled by Clients: All cancellation will be submitted in writing on IndiaJourney. Cancellation charges are applied as per the policy provided at the time of booking.
Refund: if applicable, refund will be processed with in 7-10 working days.
Credit Note: Credit note will pe provided in many cases instead for refund.
Non-Refundable: Cancellation charges are non-negotiable and non-refundable and it includes the visa rejection.
Travel Documents: Guest has to take care of all travel related documents such as visas and travel insurance.
Changes in Travel Plan
Tour modification by IndiaJourney : We reserve the right to make changes in the itineraries, accommodations, and transportation arrangements due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, political, or any factor beyond our control. All changes will be updated and done ontime.
Group Tours: Minimum 12 persons group is operated. In a mean time, group size is not full, due to cancellation, we provide Guest an alternative date or tour option. Refunds or credit notes will be issued for land package, deduction of any expense that are non-refundable such as visa fees.
Travel Insurance
Mandatory Insurance: We recommend all to clients take travel insurance which is covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and in case of loss of baggage. IndiaJourney is not responsible for losses that are not covered by insurance.
Safety Guidelines
Medical Conditions: Clients must have to talk about the medical conditions that he/she if totally fit to join the tour. If need Guest has to provide the medical fitness certificate to IndiaJourney representative.
Safety Rules: Before the trip starts team leader / guide will brief you all the safety guidelines. If anyone will not be obeying the safety rules this might force us to terminate the tour without any refund.
Adventure Activity: Guests who are participating in any adventure activity India Journey is not responsible for any personal or loss of life resulting.
Travel Documents
Documents: A valid passport at least six months from the date of return to India. For domestic travel, a government-issued ID card such as Aadhar card, Voter ID with a photograph is required.
Air Travel Guidelines
Delay in flights or Cancellations: IndiaJourney is not responsible for any delays, cancellations, done by airlines. Clients directly talk to the support staff.
Baggage: IndiaJourney is not responsible for baggage delays or losses. Guests talk on this issue directly with the airline.
Meals: Meals on flight is depended on the type of flight booked.
Meal Plans: Meals are typically set menus or buffets, not à la carte. Snacks, drinks, soups, and desserts may not be included, and you’ll need to pay separately for those (as per availability).
Alcohol: Although we do not promote the consumption of Alcohol at high-altitude areads but if you want to have alcohol in hotels or rooms, you’ll need to follow the hotel’s rules.
Transfer and Sightseeing
Transfers: All transfers are arranged accordingly as per the tour itinerary. Guests must have to be punctual for all transfer as delay may affect the trip itinerary.
Sightseeing: Sightseeing places that are mentioned will cover or it may can change due to local conditions. No refunds will be provided for unused services.
Liability and Limitation
Third party services: IndiaJourney act as an intermediary between clients and the third party such as hotel, transport, airlines etc. IndiaJourney is liable for any loss done by third pary.
Force Majeure: IndiaJourney is not liable for any events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, wars, strikes, or pandemics.
Liability for Personal Belongings: IndiaJourney is not responsible for any personal loss including passports, Aadhar cards, PAN cards, driving licenses, etc., during the tour.
Conduct & Behaviors
Code of Conduct: Guest are expected to behave respectfully against fellow travelers, guides, drivers and law. Misconduct may allow us to terminate the tour without any refund.
Damage Responsibilities: Guest are self-responsible for doing any damage or loss.
Law & Jurisdiction
Legal Compliance: All These Terms are under the government laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
Complaints: If you have any complaint regarding, please contact us immediately. So that we take immediate action to resolve it.
