Itinerary
- Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, meet our representative on arrival with whom you will drive to Shillong. En-route visit the Umiam Lake (Borapani), where you can do water sports activity. You will be visiting the Golf Links, Cathedral Church, Don Bosco Monument, Botanical Garden, Lady Hydari Park, and boating on Ward’s Lake. Later in the evening walk through the Polica Bazaar a local market. Overnight stay at Shillong.
- Morning breakfast check out from the hotel and travel to Dawki, where you will witness the crystal-clear water of the Umngot River and enjoy a boat ride. You will also witness the Indo-Bangladesh border at Tamabil. Umngot River you can do Boating, Kayaking, Sculling, Zip lining, etc (direct payment). Later you will visit Mawlynnong Village which is awarded as the ‘Cleanest Village in Asia’, where you can visit Balancing Rock and take a small walk to the Living Root Bridge – a marvel of bioengineering by the Khasi tribe. Later you can stroll around the village to see the lifestyle of the locals. Later overnight stay at Dawki.
- Today morning breakfast check out form the hotel and you will drive to Jowai where you will visit the Krangsuri Falls & Phe Phe Falls on the way. After that you will head towards Cherrapunji also known as Sohra, is famous for being one of the wettest places on Earth, holding the record for the highest annual rainfall. On the way you will visit the Garden of cavers, where you can visit Mawsmai Cave and Arwah Cave and later arrived at hotel, do check in and relax. Overnight stay at Cherrapunji.
- Post breakfast start local sightseeing in Cherrapunji you will drive towards Tyrna Village / Nongriatt Village by 9 AM. Do trek down towards Double Decker Root Bridge & Rainbow Falls that will take 3 hours for hiking. Cherrapunji sightseeing further you will ahead to Wah-Kaba Falls and then to Arwah Caves, Nohkalikai or Seven Sisters Falls,Dainthlen Falls, Wei Sawdong Falls. Return back to hotel for overnight stay.
- Today is the last day, so get ready had your breakfast at the hotel and drive to Guwahati. On the way visit Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak. Later you will transfer to Airport or Railway Station. Tours ends with lots of memories.
